Deep is the Founder and Group Executive Chairman of MakeMyTrip Limited, the holding company of India’s leading travel brands MakeMyTrip, Goibibo and redBus. Launched in India in 2005, MakeMyTrip is today one of the largest e-commerce businesses in the country. Deep steered MakeMyTrip as CEO since its inception in 2000. He took on the role of Group Executive Chairman in February 2020, to pursue strategic initiatives, including product innovation and expansion, geographic growth, business model innovation and corporate development.

Deep served as the President of TiE Delhi Chapter from 2013 to 2016 and continues to serve as an active board member. He is the Vice Chairman of IAMAI and a member of Nasscom’s Internet Council. Deep is also closely involved with leading industry bodies like CII and FICCI as part of their travel & tourism sub-committees. He is one of the founders of Ashoka University and serves on their governing body. A believer in citizens efforts, he is a founding member of ‘I am Gurgaon’—an NGO focused on improving the quality of life in Gurgaon.

Deep has been recognized by Ernst & Young as Entrepreneur of the Year—Business Transformation (2011), and as the most powerful Digital influencer in India (2012) by KPMG. TTG Asia awarded him Best Travel Entrepreneur of 2012 at the TTG Travel Awards.

Prior to his entrepreneurial venture with MakeMyTrip, Deep has had corporate stints with GE Capital, AMF Bowling Inc. and ABN AMRO Bank. He holds an MBA degree from IIM, Ahmedabad and a Bachelor’s degree in Economics from St. Stephen’s College, Delhi. His interests include swimming, yoga, adventure sports, quizzing and travelling.

Rajesh Magow is the Co-Founder & Group Chief Executive Officer of MakeMyTrip Limited, the holding company of India’s leading travel brands MakeMyTrip, Goibibo and redBus. As part of the founding team that built MakeMyTrip from the ground up, Rajesh is a believer of India’s digital opportunity and a backer of many young Indian tech companies that are raring to make their mark.

An internet industry veteran with a demonstrated history of working at the intersection of India’s booming consumer technology and tourism sector, Rajesh is passionate about transforming the business using tech and creating disproportionate value for customers. As CEO, Rajesh leads strategy and operations for MakeMyTrip, including the management of all business units within the organization.

Rajesh played a key role in executing a successful merger between MakeMyTrip and Ibibio group. He has also led the initial public offering process of MakeMyTrip, with successful listing on NASDAQ in the US in 2010. Within MakeMyTrip, Rajesh also acts as a mentor to the senior management team and other high-potential team members.

He is a recipient of many awards, including the Bloomberg Award for the Best CFO in India.

Rajesh also serves as an independent Director on the board of Flipkart. He has earlier served as the CFO and acting CEO for the India operations of eBookers.com, now part of Travelport. He started his career with Voltas and has also worked with Aptech Limited and Quantum in senior management positions.

Mohit is the Company's Group Chief Financial Officer. He has been with MakeMytrip for more than 6 years and has been closely involved in supporting the inorganic expansion through mergers & acquisitions, as well as overseeing the Company’s financial accounting & planning and legal compliance.

Mohit has about 23 years of corporate finance leadership experience, including roles of Finance Director at Kohler India and Financial Controller at Pepsi Co. India. Other career assignments include various F&A portfolios at Seagrams, Colgate Palmolive & Nagarjuna Fertilizers.

Mohit is a qualified Chartered Accountant from the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI) and a Cost Accountant from the Institute of Cost Accountants of India. In his free time, Mohit enjoys watching movies, listening to music and travelling with family and friends.
